Jim Likens wrote his first song when he was 14-years old. It was really bad. Like good wine though, things got better with age.
He has written over 50 “StoryTunes,” songs based on great stories of the Bible, for his character Grandpa Jim.
In addition to that, he has also written and composed
many other songs for organizations that tell their story.

Chris has been professionally singing, producing, writing and recording music since 1988. His extensive list of projects include the
Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, Creative Communications for the Parish, Augsburg Fortress, numerous St. Louis churches and countless St. Louis artists and bands. Chris was also the producer/arranger of all of
Jim Likens’ “StoryTunes with Grandpa Jim” CDs and videos and also served as arranger and music director of “Just In Time For Christmas,” a one hour special that aired on over 150 NBC stations during the 1998
Christmas season.
Heralded as the "best producers in St. Louis" by local tape duplication owners and record company representatives, his portfolio spans the gamut from a
variety of full production albums to custom music for dozens of videos including award-winning dramatic and children's material.
Chris is the lead singer for his band, Jordan’s Creed, which
has won or been a finalist in several national band and song-writing competitions including those by the National Association of Christian Artists and Songwriters (NACAS) and Embassy Music.
